Italian Food Catering

Italian food catering is becoming an ever-expanding business. This service is a wonderful alternative to trying to cook for a large gathering. Whether for a special occasion such as a wedding, a business function, a holiday get together, or just a large party, you can never go wrong with Italian food catering services.

Many Italian food catering services offer an extensive and authentic menu. From antipasto to dessert, you can request each course be prepared and served just as it would be in Italy. Starting with antipasto most caterers will offer numerous options for hot and cold finger foods, classic staples like pickled vegetables, smoked meats, sausages, and sharp cheeses. An Insalata, salad, course follows the antipasto and could be a simple tomato-mozzarella-basil salad, or a more elaborate fennel salad. Pasta courses and then a meat course will follow. Each of these courses, as would take place in Italy, is served with seasonal vegetable side dishes. A fresh fruit course will follow the meal, followed by dessert. Dessert can consists of just one sweet treat, or a sampling of several treats like cannolis, Italian cookies, and biscotti. Cappuccino and/or espresso are typically served with dessert as well.

In addition to various delicious food choices, Italian food catering services offer advice on which wines to serve with each course, sauces, condiments, and breads for a true authentic Italian feast. Some services will even offer fun games like a bacci ball course for an added effect.

Every menu can be customized so you will have exactly the food, drinks, and set up you desire. Decorative touches like wine casks, centerpieces, baskets, and table setting are all taken care of, so all you have to do is arrive with your guests. Whether you are entertaining a group of ten or two hundred, Italian food catering is a great option for any gathering. You will receive authentic quality, and a personal touch, without all the hassle, clean up, and worry of preparing the meal yourself.

A risk worth taking

Manish Sinha, the owner of Aurora's newest barbecue eatery and afirst-time restaurateur, does not want to become another statistic. Itis said that nine out of 10 restaurants fail in their first year, andseven out of 10 restaurants fail in three to five years. But Sinha is used to shattering statistics and proving people wrong.
